Das weltweit erste Museum der KÖRPERWELTEN öffnete 2015 seine Pforten in Berlin. Es ist am Alexanderplatz direkt im Berliner Fernsehturm beheimatet. Seitdem haben die Besucherinnen und Besucher die Möglichkeit eine Vielzahl einzigartiger Plastinate zu bestaunen. Diese geben einen tiefen Einblick in das hochkomplexe Innere des menschlichen Körpers. So erhalten Interessierte ein detailliertes Wissen über Organfunktionen und häufige Krankheiten, all das leicht verständlich vermittelt. Durch die lebensnahen Posen wird ein unmittelbarer Bezug zu den Betrachtenden hergestellt.

Ralle und Hannes sitzen an der Bushaltestelle in Briesenow, irgendwo in Brandenburg. Jeden Tag. Die zwei sind Freunde seit der Schule und sind schon durch alle Zeiten zusammen gegangen. Die guten Zeiten, als Ralle noch Ingenieur im Tagebau war und Hannes stolzer Agrarwissenschaftler, sind längst vorbei. Danach ist erstmal viel passiert, die Wende, Scheidungen und dann nichts mehr.

Wer jetzt denkt, ihre Geschichte wäre eine dieser typischen, ostdeutschen Verlierergeschichten, der täuscht sich. Ralle und Hannes haben immer noch sich. Und dann ist da auch noch Busfahrerin Kathrin, deren Halt in Briesenow immer ein Ereignis ist. Außerdem gibt es, wie könnte es in einer Geschichte aus Brandenburg anders sein, Nazis derer man sich erwehren muss und Dorfbullen, die einem schon seit der Schulzeit gehörig auf den Sack gehen.

Die erfolgreiche RBB-Serie „Warten auf´n Bus“ von Oliver Bukowski, Anne Rabe und Sophie Decker zeichnet ein Bild der brandenburgischen Provinz entgegen der gängigen Klischees. Mit viel Herz erzählt sie von zwei Freunden, an denen sich auch ein Stück deutsche Geschichte nachvollziehen lässt, die aber vor allem eines sind, zwei Menschen mit Herz und Humor. Regisseurin Christine Hofer adaptiert die Serie fürs Theater und bringt „Warten auf´n Bus“ auf die Vagantenbühne.
