Alice im Wunderland - Tanzperformance
Welcome to Wonderland! Have you ever been there, far behind the mountains and across the wide sea? Where the water is sweet and soft, like syrup, and there are supposed to be delights in abundance?
Cheerful water whirlpools, fresh springs, a rushing brook. It is a well-tuned hot summer day. We experience an illustrious society, among them the three Liddell sisters. After a swaying boat ride and a long, long fall, the youngest, Alice, suddenly finds herself alone in a room with countless doors. The girl feels quite strange, as if she is no longer sure of her size. Then a white rabbit appears...
We encounter a flamingo ballet and an absurd croquet game. A mother crab mixes with her daughter among the waltzing lobster quadrille, and next door, a bird ball is in full swing. Look, who peeks out from behind the large leaves? A broad grin is visible and the soft, shiny fur of a cat. Purring turns into an extensive laugh. The society comes together and tumbles in the sunlight.
A cheerful and fantastic dance piece, musically framed by the Badische Philharmonie Pforzheim.
