Remake lädt das Publikum ein, als Statist*innen bei den Dreharbeiten eines Films mitzuwirken, der nur gemeinsam entstehen kann. So wie einst Jugendbrigaden in Jugoslawien Straßen und Eisenbahnen bauten, versammeln wir uns auf der Bühne, um die Erinnerung an kollektive Arbeit und Begeisterung wieder aufleben zu lassen. Vorkenntnisse sind nicht erforderlich – nur die Bereitschaft, mitzumachen, zu arbeiten, dabei zu sein, neu zu machen.

Comrades, we need your hands, your voices, your presence!
Remake invites the audience to step in as extras at the shooting of a film that can only be made together. Just as youth brigades once built roads and railways in Yugoslavia, we gather on stage to rebuild a memory of collective labor and enthusiasm. No previous experience is required – only the willingness to join, to work, to witness, to remake.
