Jahrhundertalte Avantgarde-Tradition trifft auf die spontanen Bewegungen von Kindern. James Batchelor schafft eine Performance, die sowohl historisch bewusst als auch zeitgenössisch ist: Notes of Self ist eine intime Mischung aus Intellekt und Emotion, die Kindern und Erwachsenen gleichermaßen neue Wege zum Tanz eröffnet. Verspielt und voller Bewegung spricht die Choreografie ein junges Publikum an und lädt gleichzeitig Erwachsene zu einem neuen Dialog mit dem radikalen Geist von Ausdruckstanz ein. Das Ergebnis ist ein Solo, das zu einem Dialog zwischen Generationen, Körpern und Betrachtungsweisen wird.

Relaxed Performance
Century-old avant-garde tradition meets the spontaneous movements of children and creates a performance that is both historically aware and radically present: Notes of Self is an intimate blend of intellect and emotion that opens new pathways to dance for children and adults alike. Playful and full of movement, the choreography welcomes young audiences, while inviting adults into a fresh dialogue with the radical spirit of Ausdruckstanz. The result is a solo that becomes a conversation across generations, bodies, and ways of seeing.
