Die LISTEN TO BERLIN: AWARDS sind die Musikpreise des Landes Berlin, verliehen durch das Netzwerk der Berliner Musikwirtschaft Berlin Music Commission. Nominiert werden können Menschen, Unternehmen und Initiativen der Berliner Musikbranche. Die Preise wurden 2017 ins Leben gerufen, um diejenigen Akteur*innen sichtbar zu machen, die oft fernab des Rampenlicht die Musikbranche der Hauptstadt gestalten. Sie werden unabhängig von kommerziellen Gesichtspunkten in verschiedenen Kategorien verliehen. Die Preisverleihung versteht sich auch als Plattform für Austausch, Vernetzung und Kooperation zwischen erfahrenen Branchenvertreter:innen und engagiertem Nachwuchs.

The LISTEN TO BERLIN: AWARDS are given yearly to Berlin players in the music industry and are intended as a predicate for remarkable achievements. The Berlin Music Commission awards the prizes independent of commercial considerations and focus on displaying our industry network in all facets. The awards ceremony is also a platform for exchange, networking and cooperation between experienced industry representatives and committed young talents.

It’s a talent-packed list, with some of the most thrilling up-and-coming artists and bands from Germany and abroad. This year’s programme is one of the best in the history of MW:M Live.

Most Wanted: Music is the most important music business event in Berlin and an up-and-coming hotspot for music and creative industry experts from all over Europe. MW:M is organized by the Berlin Music Commission, the music business network of Berlin. MW:M’s key objectives are to enable practical know-how transfer; to foster networking, connectivity, and information exchange; and to inspire new ideas and business models. The convention is accompanied by the Listen to Berlin: Awards, the awards for remarkable achievements in the Berlin music scene, as well as the international showcase Festival MW:M Live. MW:M24 will take place from 12th - 14th November 2024 at Kulturbrauerei in Berlin.

Am 13. November 2024 dreht sich beim LISTEN TO BERLIN: YOUTH - Festival mit Summit & Showcase alles um die nächste Generation von Musikmacher*innen, Kreativen und an der Branche Interessierten. Tauche im legendären Frannz Club in der Kulturbrauerei von 10 bis 22 Uhr ein in einen Tag voller inspirierender Panels, Roundtables, praxisnaher Workshops und Live-Musik. Hier kannst Du dich mit professionellen Akteur*innen und Gleichgesinnten vernetzen, in die Welt der Musikbranche hineinschnuppern und die Tools und das Wissen finden, um deine künstlerischen oder beruflichen Ideen in die Tat umzusetzen.
