Aus voller Kehle für die Seele - Reihe: Das Singende Gasthaus - mit Patrick Bopp
“Aus voller Kehle für die Seele” is the new series at the Rosenau aimed at all people who like to sing! It truly includes everyone: those who think they can’t sing at all, those who can sing a little, or those who sing often and joyfully. “Aus voller Kehle für die Seele” is not a regular choir with scheduled rehearsals and performances. In fact, it’s not a choir at all! Instead, it’s a gathering for singing, where fun is the main focus: the joy of singing together, the joy of trying out and experimenting, and even the joy of failing together. Songs will be sung without sheet music, with the lyrics projected onto a screen. It can get exuberant and wild.
Patrick Bopp aka Memphis is part of the Stuttgart vocal-comedy group “Füenf” and serves as the musical host in the “Singenden Gasthaus.” He leads, conducts, motivates, provides background vocals, and accompanies on the piano. Songs will be sung that can be sung: from rock and pop songs, melodies from the 1920s, folk songs, children’s songs, rap, ska, to yodeling. Everything is possible: from ABBA, Die Toten Hosen, to Heino, Schubert songs, Rio Reiser, and Ed Sheeran. Everyone can make their own suggestions, which can be implemented immediately if possible or prepared for next time. It is planned for 2 x 45 minutes, with a break in between, the hall is seated, and the bar is open.
