The Death & Damnation Fest will take place for the first time in 2025!
Presented by Deaf Forever, Musix, and metal.de
In the industrial attire of Turbinenhalle in Oberhausen, some of the biggest acts from Black and Death Metal will come together for a one-of-a-kind festival on Saturday, September 13th.
Beherit are among the most influential Black Metal bands of all time and will perform next year exclusively at the Death & Damnation Fest, for the first time ever in Germany since their founding in the late 80s.
The second headliner also needs no introduction: Primordial is undoubtedly the greatest Black Metal band from Ireland, having established an entire genre in their homeland with their unique mix of Black and Pagan Metal.
The Swiss Blackened Death Metal duo Bölzer has long been no secret since their founding in 2008. The sheer force of their live shows is hard to put into words; with their unusual lineup, they create a musical form of structured chaos.
Drudensang have also long outgrown their status as an underground band and are considered a fixture in the German Black Metal scene. With their uncompromising interpretation of traditional Black Metal and impressive performance, the name of their last album, Tuiflsrijtt, is definitely a program.
Also rare guests are the Black/Death veterans Noctem. As one of the largest Spanish representatives of the Extreme Metal genres, the band will present a deep cut from their 24-year band history in 2025.
Emerging from the Tyrolean snow, Asphagor return to Oberhausen after 7 years and may bring a new album with them.
Also from Tyrol, Austria, and for the first time in NRW, the Blackened Death upstarts Jesajah will open the first edition of the festival.
Offstage, there will be a typical festival program.
