Fri 6.2. 20:00 Berlin Premiere
scheinzeitmenschen & YENGA, Bochum & Amsterdam
Light in Concert
Object music performance • without language • 70 Minutes • Supporter €25, Regular €18, Discounted €12
Working at the crossroads of object theater, music and light art, the Bochum-based duo scheinzeitmenschen and the German-Dutch band YENGA have dedicated themselves to a characteristic of light that we usually do not perceive: its sound. They take the audience along with them into a world in which everyday objects such as strings of lights, flashlights or neon tubes become audible. Moving light objects and their electronic sounds join together to create scenes and light-sound spaces that invite the audience to immerse themselves within them.
Notes on accessibility: Information about the accessibility of the venue in structural terms can be found here:
https://schaubude.berlin/en/accessibility/The production contains sequences with electronic live music created on the basis of sound from light as well as stroboscopic lighting effects. It is very dark during some scenes.
