Initially, not without problems, he must get to know his three comrades through duels, who then become the successful quartet with him over the course of the story. With ironic distance from the classic sword-and-vest drama and a wink, the Theater Poetenpack presents a small group of performers the historical hero panopticon.

Count Almaviva has abolished the right of the first night for the sake of his Countess, but silently assumes he can still make use of it himself. To his delight, the next wedding is just around the corner, as his servant Figaro finally wants to marry his beloved Susanne, the Countess's maid. Almaviva quickly has his schemer Bazillus concoct a few plots to get closer to Susanne. To thwart the Count's plans, Figaro must now weave a counter-plot. He receives help from the unhappy Countess, who wants to use the opportunity to expose her husband's infidelity. During a nighttime rendezvous in the garden, the Count is to be lured into a trap – but the plan is unveiled, and Almaviva strikes back.

In the original from 1784, wit triumphs over violence. Turrini's wicked comedy is also full of wordplay and biting punchlines, but the language no longer has the power to overturn the circumstances. The laughter threatens to get stuck in the throat.

Clara Immerwahr, a highly gifted scientist, failed due to her time and an unhappy marriage to the famous Nobel laureate in the field of chemistry, Fritz Haber. In the year 1900, Clara Immerwahr became the first German to receive a doctorate in the new field of physical chemistry at the University of Breslau. Her husband, as a chemist, developed the poison gas for the First World War. She was a committed pacifist and a particular role model for groups critical of armaments and feminists. Her marriage and her life ended tragically.

An evening of theater about love and renunciation, duty and passion, fatal scientific ambition, and misunderstood patriotism. Sabine Friedrich, born in 1958, is a German author of novels and plays. "Immerwahr" was published as a novel in 2007.

In his new program, Stefan Danziger takes another quirky look at history. Nice Vikings, polyamorous Ivan the Terrible, and Mr. Hexogen are just a few protagonists in his comedy show. What does the sunflower have to do with colonialism, and aren't the 4 apocalyptic riders just 4 girls at a riding school in Brandenburg? At the same time, he refers to his childhood in the Eastern Bloc, where only losers lived on the ground floor of a new housing block. Danziger struggles with the ever-changing everyday life as a young father, full of Pegasi, a toy store, and the new pet. A crazy journey through his mind full of funny anecdotes and completely bizarre facts of history and everyday madness.

A deadly musical

The grand opera "I sette peccati capitali", in English "The Seven Deadly Sins", will have its world premiere. The audience eagerly awaits the spectacular appearance of the prima donna Regina Víctima. But she does not appear. What has happened? Could it possibly be a murder committed in the opera? Inspector Johnson investigates and interrogates all the suspects. It becomes apparent that each of the six suspects not only has a compelling motive but also concrete evidence against them. Could the event perhaps have something to do with the content of the performed opera – the seven deadly sins?

Since September 2024, the TheaterTräumer at T-Werk, under the direction of Janina Sasse, have been working on their new piece "I sette peccati capitali". The idea for the piece, as well as the staging, script, set, and costume design, were developed collaboratively with the group. The group has previously performed the pieces "Every Hero is Different" (2019), "Bye Berlin" (2020), "Home-Made Butterflies" (2022), "Delete.Create.Restart." (2023), and "A Star Named Klaus" (2024).

Yes, what? Eating, fooling around, fishing, freaking out, bursting, traveling, sleeping, drinking?

How do we know this? Well, we come from a generation where it matters to die as late as possible while still being young.

At least in this regard, Saalfeld, May, and Ranz have done everything right.

One finds the right words, the other the right tones, and the third is still searching.
The three white men are so old that they learned smoking, drinking, and kissing on the playground, they start their Netflix series out of habit at 8:15 PM, they still hold their phone to their ear to make calls, and they continue to make their jokes about stupid politicians – why not?! They don't belong to any minority.

We live in times where one is already considered far-right if one can speak five sentences of flawless German and where houseflies explain to bees how to make honey.

So what! Irony and sarcasm are the greatest temptation since there have been complete idiots.

Chanson - Stories about unheard women

The weaker sex? Not at all! “What men can do, we can do for a long time - and maybe even a whole lot more!” belted out the great Berlin comedian Claire Waldoff in 1926. Claire was an “icon of the unconventional,” rebelliously singing about feminism, free love, and free living - but not as a vamp for male fantasies, rather originally female, self-confident.

Unheard? Not at all! Musically and cabaret-style, this program is about self-confidence, about female power that allows everything, including vulnerability.
But also about “ladylike,” about fixed roles. We present women who had or have something to say, who continue to survive in art - from yesterday to today. From Friedrich Hollaender's cycle “Songs of a Poor Girl” to Hilde Knef and Fifi Brix. Unknown, unheard women also have their say!

Zwischen Figuration und Abstraktion, glatten Oberflächen und schroff zerklüfteten Strukturen erschließt sich ein Werk, das offen bleibt und keiner Stilrichtung klar zuzuordnen ist. Hartung verstand Kunst nicht als Abbild, sondern als Ausdruck einer ganzheitlichen Lebens- und Naturerfahrung – beeinflusst von anthroposophischem Denken und der Frage nach den Möglichkeiten künstlerischer Bildgebung. Im Mittelpunkt der Ausstellung stehen Skulpturen der 40er bis 60er Jahre: organische, archaische Figuren, raumgreifende vegetative Gebilde, Kopfstudien und in sich geschlossene massive Volumina. Im von Peter Josef Lenné gestalteten Park der Villa Jacobs am Jungfernsee entfalten seine Naturformen eine so wechselhafte wie vielschichtige Sprache. Lennés komponierte Landschaft und Hartungs Werke versinnbildlichen die für beide jeweils untrennbare Verbindung von Natur und Kunst.

Die Ausstellung zeigt elf Skulpturen im Park sowie über zwanzig kleinere Figuren und Zeichnungen in der angrenzenden Orangerie und im Maschinenhaus.
