Welcome to Cologne's Kölsch Happy Hour Extended Version, a highly amusing crash course in Klüngel, Kölsch, and Carnival!
For over 100 performances, the Köln-Show has delighted tourists, newcomers, and locals.
Cologne is known to be the Mecca of cheerfulness, but also the crystal meth among cities: a life in full intoxication with a tendency towards self-destruction. Why that is the case is revealed by “Die Köln-Show,” which has been captivating audiences for seven years. “Die Köln-Show” playfully celebrates the uniqueness of the cathedral metropolis and its people, aiming to turn every viewer into a true Cologne heart.
The Köln-Show provides you with answers to the central questions of the Rhineland spirit: Why is no city in the world sung about as often as Cologne? Why is Cologne the world capital of tolerance? How do you become part of the Klüngel? Whether as a tourist, newcomer, or native – the Köln-Show takes you on a sparkling Tour de Cologne through the three great K's of this city: Klüngel, Kölsch, and Carnival.
Either Robert Griess, cabaret artist and inventor of the Köln-Show, actress Kerstin Kallewegge, or comedian Hagen Range will do everything to familiarize you with the Kölsch feeling in 90 minutes: Klüngel, Kölsch & Carnival! You’ll laugh yourself to pieces!!!
Performers:
Kerstin Kallewegge is a charming native of Cologne with a famously notorious way of speaking.
Hagen Range is an actor, Cologne city guide, and ensemble member of the Bonn Alternative Carnival session Pink Punk Pantheon.
Robert Griess is a Cologne cabaret artist and is touring nationwide.
