Thirteen performers take over a long runway where bodies, voices, and beats collide. Music – ranging from HipHop and Funk to Soul and Rock – sets the rhythm of the evening, while Spoken Word and Rap narrate stories of struggle, joy, and survival. The dance oscillates between choreographed sequences and instinctive reactions: thus, it reflects both physical expressions of fear and the ritual bonds that arise from shared movements.

At the heart of the performance is the call for community and belonging. Burning City confronts systems of exclusion and strengthens the power of collective presence. Inspired by movements like Paris is Burning, the Harlem Cultural Festival, and recent global uprisings, the show positions art as a form of resistance.

Burning City is more than a play: it is an encounter of music and movement, a living manifesto where activism takes shape through rhythm, performance, and shared energy. A multidisciplinary performance that connects music, dance, and Spoken Word with the urgency of activism. The Dutch Iron Maiden fan club asked Joey Bruers to do a special show; something other than the regular tribute or cover band. With musicians from several bands he performed a set of rearranged acoustic Maiden songs. The reactions from the crowd were overwhelming.

The idea that became a show then became a project. A project to bring all kinds of musicians and fans from all over the world together to celebrate the music. With 5 studio albums and live shows through Europe this project presents classic Iron Maiden songs in a re-imagined form. Acoustic re-arrangements that transform the songs into something that Iron Maiden fans would have never imagined hearing. Over the years some 40 musicians have joined us on stage or in the studio.

During the 1980 shows the band played all songs from the legendary first Iron Maiden album (1980) in special acoustic rearrangements featuring Dennis Stratton (Iron Maiden Guitarist 1980) on guitar…and of course some more tracks of the previous Maiden uniteD albums were played live.

After 5 studio albums, the Amsterdam Carré show (2018), the ‘Sailors of the Sky’ Tour (2019), the Powerslave Tour (2022), 1980 as their chapter for 2023 and 2024 in 2025 they celebrated their 15th Anniversary!

The charismatic and popular opera star Rolando Villazón will celebrate the great anniversary of his favorite composer in 2026: Wolfgang Amadé Mozart! For the 270th birthday of the musical genius, Rolando Villazón invites you to festive concerts in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. The program revolves around arias and scenes for kings, emperors, and a bird catcher, featuring music from Mozart operas such as Idomeneo, La clemenza di Tito, Il re pastore, and Die Zauberflöte.

Rolando Villazón lives in Paris. He is considered one of the most versatile artists of our time and is also known as a director, writer, TV and radio personality, director of the Salzburg Mozart Week, and artistic director of the Mozarteum Foundation.

The 270 Years of Mozart Anniversary with tenor Rolando Villazón is a unique Mozart experience for the whole family. Joining him is the orchestra PRJCT Amsterdam, led by its founder Maarten Engeltjes. The orchestra PRJCT Amsterdam has been exciting audiences since 2017 with its refreshing joy of playing and is considered one of the most exciting orchestras for early music.

A top heavy rock band from Sweden. Such a thing probably only exists in Sweden: From a town of 3000 inhabitants comes one of the country's trending heavy rock bands. But even though all three previous albums by Corroded reached the top 10 of the local charts, singer and guitarist Jens Westin remains modest. “When someone in a bar asks me about my profession, I usually reply: a kind of professional musician.” In their hometown Änge, such a thing is not common, because there, in the geographical center of Sweden, the members of Corroded are neither colorful exotic birds nor superstars – they are simply residents of a cozy little village. On one hand, this fact grounds them, while on the other hand, their music also sounds like a departure. Because Corroded wants to achieve something. With their modest means, as Westin emphasizes again: “Of course, we are not reinventing the wheel of rock, but we try to write good songs that please us and others as well.” Musically rooted in the seventies, when heavy rock was invented by bands like Black Sabbath. However, there is also an affinity for more modern sounds. Soundgarden from Seattle, for example, left a deep and significant impression on everyone in the nineties. “We try to bring the best of old and new together,” describes Westin the sound of his band. “If you will, metal and melody collide at Corroded.” That the name for this ‘attempt’ could not have been chosen more aptly is evident (corroded = decomposed, corroded) Corroded achieves the perfect balance between classic and modern influences, they have an incredible stage presence and with Jens Westin a singer who lives every line of his lyrics. It doesn't get any better than this. And the European rock and metal community should recognize this soon. Or as Westin modestly says: “We love to tour. And so far, everyone has always come back. No one wanted their money back.” Their sixth album, currently still titled "Plague", was recorded by the band during the Covid-19 pandemic. The metal band reports: "This is our very special late bloomer, born out of fear and boredom during the plague. And apart from the mastering, we did everything ourselves. Welcome to the dark soul of CORRODED. Enjoy the journey." Singer Jens Westin reveals about the first single 'Monster': "This is one of the first songs we wrote for the album. And we wanted the song to be the first single because it’s a monster of a song. It’s a groovy mid-tempo song that we really like to play, and we hope that most of our fans will love it."

Well, let me take one last look around at what has happened over these 60 years I've spent here in the Rhineland, 47 of them on stage. One more time, let's fill the Kölsch Basic Law with life for your final amusement. For each paragraph and the preamble, I'll provide examples, justifications, stories, and the occasional song, so that even those not from the Rhineland have the chance to understand what a special universe the Rhineland is. That is the least I owe to the Rhineland.
But then it must also be enough. I have other things to do than to make you laugh: there are (at the moment) 2 granddaughters and 2 grandsons, who knows what else will come (I still have hope!) then I need to take care of my health – in between, because I am a 'premium patient' at the Bonn University Hospital (that’s what it says on the medical record!), and I’ve experienced a thing or two there. Besides, I'm no Johannes Heesters; I'm just an ordinary border crosser between Italy, South Tyrol, and the Rhineland universe. The British guitarist and singer Danny Bryant does not stop touring and will not only present songs from his current studio album "Rise" (Jazzhaus Records). For the renowned UK music magazine 'Classic Rock Magazine', Danny Bryant is a "National Blues Treasure," a title that the exceptional guitarist has earned through hard work and tireless touring. The only 42-year-old Bryant has made a name for himself in the European blues scene over the past two decades by completing over 2500 club and festival performances for his numerous fans, and he is considered one of the best of the best in the industry. The new studio album "Rise" was recorded in early 2023 at Chapel Studios, UK, and produced by Grammy winner Ian Dowling (among others Adele). Stylistically, Danny Bryant remains true to himself and offers an exciting mix of blues, rock, and singer-songwriter, but has opted for a slightly more modern sound in the production that makes the Brit sound fresher than ever.
